The Ateneo Student Business Review (ASBR) was relaunched in 2021 as the student - led online publication of the John Gokongwei School of Management in the Ateneo de Manila University. After a massive rebrand and overhaul, the publication aims to provide thought leadership in the business community through the five main thrusts: Finance and Economics, Leadership and Strategy, Big Data and Systems Thinking, Digital Transformation, and Sustainability and Inclusive Growth.
The Finance and Economics thrust aims to provide analysis and avenues for discussion on topics relevant to the Philippine economy.
The Leadership and Strategy thrust is committed to accentuating the most cutting-edge ideas in management and organizational performance. Content tagged in Leadership and Strategy will zero in on systems and critical thinking in theory and in practice.
The Big Data and Systems Thinking thrust aims to highlight data beyond graphs and visualization. More important than that is to highlight the relevance of applying the insights gained from analyzing data.
The Digital Transformation thrust is committed to spotlighting the role of emerging technologies in shaping the business world as it adapts to the digital revolution of the 21st century. This thrust aims to spark conversations about the promising impacts, outlook, trends, and potential challenges that may come with these advancements in the industry.
The Sustainability and Inclusive Growth thrust aims to educate on the increasing relevance of sustainability in the modern age of globalization, and the ways in which they can incorporate more sustainable practices into their lifestyle. Additionally, this thrust is committed to recognizing significant innovations and examining their role in furthering the transition towards a more sustainable way of life.
To provide relevant leadership insights and generate thought-provoking discussions about the emerging business landscape that will positively impact decision-making processes for the current and future pressing business issues.
To be the leading student business review primarily focused on delivering innovative and technical practices to thrive in the diverse business environment.
Sustainability. Leadership. Innovation.
